Default raster output
- PNG canvas: 4,500 × 5,400 pixels.
- Target metadata and sizing: 300 DPI, equivalent to 15 × 18 inches at that pixel size.
- Color: 8-bit RGB/sRGB workflow; PrintMind does not promise CMYK separation in the default export.
- Transparency: straight-alpha PNG is supported where the design and provider template permit it.
- Upscaling changes pixel dimensions but cannot restore detail absent from the source artwork.
SVG and generated artwork
Typography and vector decoration may remain native vector paths in SVG exports. AI-generated illustrations and uploaded photographs are raster content and may remain embedded raster assets inside an SVG container. SVG therefore does not always mean every element is resolution-independent.
Bleed, safe area, and templates
Product dimensions, printable area, bleed, safe area, and placement vary by garment, size, color, print method, and fulfillment provider. PrintMind can apply provider-template placement and bleed data when available, but sellers must inspect the provider preview and preflight warnings for the exact variant.
A saved export records the selected product and provider context, but provider templates can change. Re-run preflight after changing a product, variant, provider, print method, or source design.
Provider constraints
The current submission limit is 25 MB for Printful and 40 MB for Printify. Providers may impose lower limits or format rules for specific products. Upscaling cannot recreate missing detail, and screen color does not guarantee physical ink or fabric color.
Preflight checks
- File dimensions and size are checked against the selected provider workflow.
- Missing artwork, unsupported formats, and invalid personalization values block submission.
- Safe-area, low-resolution, and provider-preview concerns require seller review.
- Text, licensing, spelling, placement, and physical color remain seller responsibilities.
Acceptance
“Print-ready” means the file is prepared to the selected workflow's configured dimensions and checks. It does not guarantee provider acceptance or final print quality. Always order and inspect a sample before selling at volume.
